Arts Admin and Public Programming Internship Greywood Arts, Killeagh, East Cork

From Feb - May 2022 I was  based in the beautiful village of Killeagh, East Cork, working on arts administration and public programming with Greywood Arts director Jessica Bonenfant.

During this time I, 

​

• Volunteered at First Cut Youth Film Festival in Youghal

• Created and facilitated Easter Printmaking workshops for children

• Assisted in the programming and production of the annual May Sunday Festival in Glenbower Wood

• Produced and managed the Art and Craft Market at the May Sunday Festival 

• Created and facilitated a 6 week filmmaking and costume design course for a local youth group as part of Crinniu na Nog

• Walked miles around the beautiful community owned woodland of Glenbower Wood

• Attended the Places Matter conference in Visual Carlow, attended the Rural Reimagined Symposium at the RHA Dublin, and attended Stamp Festival at Test Site Cork City. 

• Visited Clonakilty, Kinsale, Balllydehob, Lismore, Ballycotton, Midleton, Youghal, and Castlemartyr. 

• Met many artists practicing various disciplines as part of Greywood Arts Creative Process Residency
